Nutella and Cookie Sunday

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped nuts, such as hazelnuts
  • 1 cup chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella)
  • 4 cups rum raisin ice cream
  • 12 soft fig cookies (such as Fig Newtons), chopped
  • Whipped cream (from a can)

Preparation:

  1. Toast the nuts in a small skillet over low heat. Microwave the chocolate-hazelnut spread until it reaches the consistency of hot caramel sauce, 40 seconds to 1 minute.
  2. Spoon ice cream with chopped cookies, toasted nuts, and chocolate-hazelnut sauce into ice cream cups or small bowls. Top with whipped cream.
