Ingredients:
- 450 g chilled spicy breakfast sausages (pork)
- 1 onion, diced
- 900 g processed cheese, such as Velveeta
- 1 can (280 g) chopped tomatoes with green chilies
- 2 cans chopped chili peppers
- 1 jalapeño, diced
- Chips, for serving
Preparation:
- Brown the sausage and onion in a large nonstick skillet, breaking up the meat with a spoon. Once browned, drain off some of the fat.
- Cut the processed cheese into cubes and add it to the pan along with the chopped tomatoes and green chili with all the juices.
- Simmer over low heat, stirring until smooth. Then add the diced jalapeño. Serve with chips.
