Pan con tomate: bread with tomato and serrano ham topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 2 tomatoes
- 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 small clove of garlic, grated
- 2 tsp sherry vinegar
- 1 baguette
- Thin slices of Serrano ham, for topping
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to grill mode.
- In a blender, puree tomatoes with olive oil, garlic, vinegar and 3/4 teaspoon salt.
- Cut the baguette in half lengthwise and crosswise to make 4 pieces. Toast in the oven on the grill setting.
- Spread the tomato mixture on the bread, then cut into smaller pieces. Top with a thin slice of Serrano ham.
