Ingredients:
- 8 slices of challah
- 1/3 cup chocolate-hazelnut spread
- 1/4 tbsp. chopped hazelnuts
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, room temperature
- Powdered sugar, for serving
Preparation:
- Spread 4 slices of challah evenly with the chocolate-hazelnut spread. Sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts. Top with the remaining bread slices to make 4 sandwiches.
- Heat a medium skillet over medium-low heat and melt about half the butter. Cook the sandwiches, a few at a time, pressing gently as they cook, until the bread is golden brown, about 3 minutes.
- Flip and toast the other side, adding more butter if needed. Dust the sandwiches with powdered sugar and serve.
