Ingredients:
- 2 cups fine vanilla wafer cookie crumbs
- 1.5 cups powdered sugar, divided
- 0.5 cups walnuts, toasted and finely chopped
- 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp dark rum
- 1/4 cup dark corn syrup
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Preparation:
- In a large bowl, combine crushed wafer cookies, 1 cup powdered sugar, walnuts, rum, corn syrup, and butter. Knead the mixture.
- Roll into 2.5 cm balls and roll them in the remaining powdered sugar. Place the rum balls on a baking sheet, cover with plastic wrap, and let them rest for 48 hours.
