Spicy Cheese Dip "Football" topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 2 packages of 220g cream cheese, softened
- 3 cups grated aged cheddar
- 1 cup grated Romano cheese
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3 cups toasted pecans, finely chopped in a food processor
- 1 cup dried cranberries, chopped in a food processor
- Sriracha sauce
- Chips, bell peppers, celery, carrots, or crusty French bread slices, for serving
Preparation:
- Combine cream cheese, cheddar, Romano cheese, sour cream, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Using a hand mixer, beat until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste, if needed.
- Place the cheese mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet and cover with plastic wrap. Use your hands to shape the cheese into a soccer ball. Remove the wrap, evenly coat the cheese ball with nuts and cranberries, and use Sriracha sauce to create a lacing pattern on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the cheese ball to firm up.
- Serve with chips, vegetables or slices of French bread.
