Spicy Pita Chips

Ingredients:

  • 8 pitas, cut each into 8 triangles
  • 6 tablespoons za'atar seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 tbsp. l. olive oil

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C, line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Place the pita bread pieces in a single layer on a baking sheet. In a small bowl, combine the za'atar, granulated garlic, and paprika. Drizzle the pita bread with olive oil, then sprinkle each piece evenly with the spice mixture.
  3. Bake until the pita bread is golden and crisp, 25 to 30 minutes, rotating the baking sheets halfway through.
  4. Serve pita chips immediately or let cool completely and then transfer to an airtight container for storage.
