Bloody Mary Detox Cocktail (vodka optional) topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 5 ripe plum tomatoes or 'Bull's Heart', cut into 4 pieces
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tsp seafood seasoning, such as Old Bay
- 2 stalks of celery + extra for garnish
- 1 carrot
- 1 clove garlic, peeled
- 1 shallot
- Half an English cucumber
- Half a lime
- Half a green bell pepper
- Worcestershire sauce
- A little vodka, optional
- Special equipment: juicer
Preparation:
- In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, tomato paste, seafood seasoning, and a pinch each of salt and black pepper.
- Juice the celery, carrot, garlic, shallot, cucumber, lime, and green pepper and add to a bowl. Add a few drops of Worcestershire sauce. Pour into glasses and garnish with a celery stalk. Add a splash of vodka, if desired.
