- 4 beef sausages
- 4 poppy seed hot dog buns
- Yellow mustard
- 1 pickled cucumber, cut lengthwise into 4 pieces
- 1 medium tomato, cut into 8 wedges
- Chicago relish
- Half a sweet white onion, diced very finely
- 8 small pickled chili peppers

Add the sausages to the steamer basket, cover with a lid, and steam until heated through, about 5 minutes. Add the buns to the saucepan, cover with a lid, and steam until warm, about 1 minute.
- Remove the buns from the pan and sprinkle the inside of each with mustard. Place a sausage on top, then place one slice of pickle on one side of the sausage and two slices of tomato on the other side.
- Top with more mustard and relish, sprinkle with onion, and add the peppers. Sprinkle with celery salt.
Note
If you can't find poppy seed buns, use regular buns and sprinkle poppy seeds on the hot dog at the end.
If you can't find Chicago relish, substitute regular sweet pickle relish.
You can use any pickled chili peppers.
