Ingredients:
- 1 and 1/3 cups pecans
- 1 and 1/3 cups almonds
- 1 and 1/3 tbsp. salted straws with sesame seeds
Preparation:
- Beat 1 egg white with 1/4 cup light brown sugar, adding 2 teaspoons gingerbread spice mix, 1 teaspoon coarse salt, and 1/2 teaspoon each paprika and black pepper. Add 1 1/3 cups each pecans and almonds; stir to combine.
- Spread the mixture evenly on a rimmed baking sheet and bake at 325°F (160°C), stirring every 10 minutes, until the whites are almost dry but still slightly sticky, about 25 minutes. Add 1 1/3 cups sesame seeds 5 minutes before the end of the baking. Let the mixture cool.
