Ingredients:
- 450 g of ground turkey
- 1 package of mac and cheese (400 g) in 4-cheese sauce
- 1 can (110 g) canned pimento peppers
- 1 cup frozen corn, thawed
- 1 cup tortilla chips
- 1/4 cup grated Mexican cheddar
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 175°C. Prepare mac and cheese according to package directions.
- Brown the ground turkey in a large skillet over medium-high heat; set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the mac and cheese, ground turkey, pimento, and corn and transfer to a 3-quart baking dish. Top with tortilla chips and sprinkle with cheddar. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove the casserole from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
