topcook.tomathouse.com

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oatmeal, rinsed
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation:

  1. Place the rolled oats in a medium bowl, cover them with enough water. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight to soften.
  2. Drain and rinse the oats thoroughly. Pour 3 cups of fresh water into a blender. Blend on high until the oats are completely powdered, 2-3 minutes. Strain the oat milk through a sieve or cheesecloth into a container. Set the oat pulp aside for smoothies or baking. Stir in maple syrup, vanilla extract, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Store oat milk in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days..
