Ingredients:
- 14 sprigs of fresh mint
- 6 green tea bags
- 15 cm ginger root, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup honey
- Juice of 1 lime
- 170 g of unfiltered sake
- 4 thin lime wedges, for garnish
Preparation:
- In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil; boil for 1 minute. Add 10 sprigs of mint, tea bags, and ginger; stir. Turn off the heat and let steep for 20-25 minutes. Remove the tea bags, mint, and ginger from the tea. Stir in honey until completely dissolved.
- Place 4 cups of crushed ice in a pitcher. Pour in the green tea and lime juice; stir to melt the ice. Add the sake and stir.
- Pour the tea into 4 glasses filled with ice. Garnish with lime slices and the remaining mint sprigs.
