Iced cappuccino with Amaretto topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 0.5 cups of sugar
- 3 tablespoons of water
- Crushed ice
- 2 cups freshly brewed espresso, chilled
- 6 tbsp. l. Amaretto liqueur
- 1 cup whole milk or heavy cream, chilled
Preparation:
- Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan and heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Let the sugar syrup cool completely.
- Fill 6 glasses (250-350 ml) halfway with crushed ice. Pour the espresso evenly into the glass.
- Pour 1 tablespoon of sugar syrup and 1 tablespoon of Amaretto into each glass. Stir. Top with milk and serve.
