Vanilla Cream Soda

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Seltzer water for serving

Preparation:

  1. Syrup:

    In a small saucepan, combine sugar with 3/4 cup water and bring to a boil; stir until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and lemon juice. Let cool and refrigerate until completely chilled.
  2. Drink:

    Serve the syrup with seltzer water over ice (3–4 tablespoons per 240 ml of water). Close the syrup tightly and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
