Pumpkin seeds in an air fryer topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 1 medium pumpkin (about 4 kg, about 1 cup pumpkin seeds)
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 0.5 tsp coarse salt
- Special equipment: air grill with a capacity of 6 liters.
Preparation:
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
- Cut a 25cm (10 in) circle out of the top of the pumpkin and remove the top. Using a large spoon, scrape the seeds into a bowl. Separate the seeds from the stringy pulp, then rinse them in a colander under cold water. Shake off any excess water, but do not pat the seeds dry with paper towels (they will stick to the paper).
- Combine pumpkin seeds, olive oil, and salt in a clean bowl. Place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook, shaking the basket every 5 minutes, until light golden brown, about 15 minutes. Let the seeds cool.
