Airfryer fried egg sandwiches topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 4 large eggs
- 4 thin slices of ham
- 1 tube (450 g) chilled biscuit dough
- Hot sauce, for serving
- Special equipment: 4 silicone cupcake molds, 6-liter air fryer.
Preparation:
- Spray 4 silicone cupcake liners with cooking spray. Place them in the air fryer basket.
- In a large glass measuring cup, beat the eggs until no white streaks remain. Sprinkle with 0.5 teaspoon of salt. Divide the eggs among the molds. Place a piece of ham in each mold, pressing it down to fit (some of the ham should be hanging above the surface of the eggs).
- Remove 4 buns from the packaging. Place each bun in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer temperature to 150°C and cook for 10 minutes. The buns should be golden brown. Transfer to a cutting board.
- Carefully remove each egg muffin from the pan to check if it's done. If there's no runny egg at the bottom, transfer the pan to a cutting board. If there's still runny egg at the bottom, cook for another minute.
- Cut each muffin in half horizontally. Remove the egg muffins from the tins and cut them in half crosswise. Place two egg halves on each bottom muffin, drizzle with hot sauce, and sandwich with the top muffin halves.
