Bloody Beef Fingers

topcook.tomathouse.com

Ingredients:

    Fingers

  • 450 g of ground beef
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 14 small cloves of garlic or 7 large ones, cut in half lengthwise

    Bloody sauce

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon hot honey, warm (if you can't find it, mix regular honey with hot sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Special equipment: 12-14 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Preparation:

  1. Fingers:

In a large bowl, crumble the ground beef with your fingers, then sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Gently mix with your hands and divide the ground beef in half. Make 6-7 fingers from each half.
  2. Thread one finger onto the skewer, making sure it fits snugly at the tip. Repeat with the remaining fingers. Press a clove of garlic into the tip of each finger to create a nail.
  3. Preheat a grill pan to 190°C (350°F). Grill the chicken fingers, turning occasionally, until cooked through, about 8-10 minutes total.
  4. Bloody sauce:

Mix ketchup, honey, and vinegar in a bowl. Serve with finger foods for dipping.
