Pita chips with tzatziki sauce

Ingredients:

  • 8 pita breads
  • 2 packs (200 g) Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 unpeeled greenhouse cucumber (remove seeds)
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 1.5 tsp. crushed garlic
  • 2 teaspoons coarse salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • Pita chips (recipe included)
  • Olive oil

Preparation:

  1. Place the yogurt in a medium bowl. Grate the cucumber and squeeze it with your hands to remove some of the juice. Add the cucumber to the yogurt along with the sour cream, lemon juice, wine vinegar, dill, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir. Serve with pita chips.

    Pita chips:

    Preheat a gas or charcoal grill. Brush the pita with olive oil and toast on both sides. Serves 8.
