Pizza without crust topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup premium wheat flour
- Salt
- 1 cup of milk
- Butter for the pan
- 1 tbsp. grated cheddar cheese
- 55g chorizo or pepperoni sausage, sliced into small pieces, about 2cm in diameter (optional)
- Additional equipment: 1 round ovenproof pie dish, 20-23 cm in diameter
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 205°C. In a small bowl, beat the eggs with flour, salt to taste, and milk until smooth.
Grease a round ovenproof pie dish with butter, mix half of the grated cheese into the dough, then pour the dough into the pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with the remaining cheese, and top with chorizo and pepperoni (if using) or any other toppings. Return to the oven and bake for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.
When the cheese on the surface has melted and turned shiny, roll up the pizza, remove it from the oven, and serve, slicing it. A green or tomato salad would be a good side dish.
Leftovers can be reheated the next day in a hot oven for 8-10 minutes, but unfortunately they will not be as tasty as the first time.
