Mojito with sake topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 8 fresh perilla (Japanese shiso mint) leaves
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- 1 teaspoon sugar syrup
- 90 ml of very dry sake
- 30 ml. fruit wine
Preparation:
- Tear mint leaves (not too small) into a martini shaker. Mash the mint, but not too much so that small pieces remain, just enough to release the flavor and aroma. Squeeze in the lime juice.
Add a teaspoon of simple syrup. Fill the shaker 2/3 full with ice. Add the sake. Then the wine. Shake vigorously. Strain into a tall glass filled with ice.
