Fried bananas with sour cream

Ingredients:

    Dessert

  • 4 bananas, peeled and cut in half crosswise, then lengthwise
  • 2 tbsp (30 g) butter
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • A pinch of salt

    Sour cream cream

  • 4 tbsp sour cream
  • 2 tbsp. l. brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Preparation:

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the bananas and cook until they begin to caramelize. Add the orange juice, sugar, and salt and cook for another 1-2 minutes. The bananas should be well-browned, and the orange juice and sugar should form a glaze (add a tablespoon of water if necessary).
  2. Serve on a dessert plate with a spoonful of sour cream.

    Sour cream cream: In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients until smooth and creamy.
