Oven-baked French fries with paprika and parmesan topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 2 large high-starch potatoes (approximately 700 g), peeled
- 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp Creole seasoning (salt, paprika, garlic, onion, black pepper, Cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme)
- 1 tbsp. sweet paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Coarse sea salt
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 220°C.
Wipe the potatoes dry and cut into 12 mm thick strips.
Place the potatoes in a deep bowl and add olive oil, seasoning and 1/4 teaspoon of salt, mix.
Then place the potatoes on a baking sheet, spaced a little apart, in one layer.
- Bake potatoes in the oven, turning halfway through, until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine cheese, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Sprinkle the potatoes with the resulting mixture and serve hot.
