Buffalo Chicken Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 450 g chicken fillet, cut into small strips
  • 400 g frozen pizza dough
  • 1 cup buffalo wing sauce, plus 2 tbsp.
  • 1 cup of dressing with blue cheese
  • 2 tbsp. coarsely grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup red onion, sliced ​​into half rings (1 small head)
  • 1 cup diced celery (2 stalks)

Preparation:

  1. Set the grill to direct heat and preheat to medium. Just before cooking, lightly oil the grill grates.

    Place chicken pieces in a large bowl, add 1 cup buffalo wing sauce and toss to coat.

    Grill the chicken pieces for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  2. While the chicken is roasting, carefully remove the frozen pizza dough from the can. Roll the dough out on a flat surface. Spray both sides with nonstick cooking spray. Place the dough on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side. Watch carefully, as it can burn quickly.
  3. Spread blue cheese dressing on the pizza, leaving a 1-inch border. Top with mozzarella cheese, red onion, celery, and grilled chicken pieces. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of buffalo wing sauce.

    Close the grill lid and cook for 8-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbling. Serve hot.
  4. At home: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Gently roll out the dough and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Using clean hands, press the dough into a 9 x 13-inch (23 x 33 cm) rectangle. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 7 minutes, until the crust begins to brown. Remove the crust from the oven and arrange the toppings as directed above. Return the pizza to the oven for another 8-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
