Dessert "Eton Mess"

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups strawberries
  • 2 tsp. ultrafine sugar or vanilla sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of pomegranate juice
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 pack of portions meringue baskets

Preparation:

  1. Remove the sepals from the strawberries and chop them. Place them in a bowl, add sugar and pomegranate juice, and let them sit to release the juice while you whip the cream.

    In a large bowl, whip the cream until thick but still soft.
  2. Coarsely crush 4 meringue cups: you'll need both chunks and fine dust to get the right texture.
  3. Set aside about half a cup of chopped strawberries and fold the remaining berries into the meringue cream.

    Mound the dessert onto 4 serving plates or glasses and top each serving with a few of the remaining strawberries and juice.
